This is an eggless chocolate chip cookie that is crisp with a terrific flavor. It's easy to make, too! - Kim Chin
| 1/2 | cup brown sugar, packed |
| 1/2 | cup sugar, granulated |
| 1/2 | cup margarine, or butter |
| 1/2 | cup plain nonfat yogurt |
| 2 | tsp vanilla extract |
| 1 3/4 | cups all-purpose flour |
| 1/2 | tsp baking soda |
| 1/2 | tsp salt, table |
| 2 | cups semi-sweet chocolate chips |
- Preheat the oven to 375 F (190 C). Grease cookie sheet.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the brown sugar, white sugar, margarine, and until light and fluffy. Stir in yogurt and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soad, and salt; stir into creamed mixture until incorporated. Mix in the chocolate chips. Drop in rounded teaspoons onto the cookie sheet approximately 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. Watch the edges - when they begin to brown they are done! Place them on cookie racks and let them cool a bit before eating.
