Brownie Cookies Recipe

These delicious little morsels taste like brownies, but in cookie form. They're certainly not healthy, but I don't think substitutions would work very well in them. Enjoy them as a treat, or make them for the kids! Credit to Kraft Cooking magazine.

Ingredients
3 eggs
2 cups sugar
3/4 cups butter
4 oz unsweetened chocolate
2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. Heat chocolate and butter in the microwave, stirring occasionally, until melted.

  3. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

  4. Add flour.

  5. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes (not necessary, but it makes the dough easier to handle).

  6. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on greased cookie sheets (or sheets lined with parchment paper).

  7. Bake at 375, or until just set - do not overbake!! Let them set for a few minutes before removing them from the sheets.

  8. Optional: press fun stuff into the tops of the cookies immediately after removing from oven! M&M's, mini marshmallows, nut pieces, coloured sugar, raisins... whatever floats your boat and tickles your tastebuds (Add-ons are not included in the nutritionals)
