Chocolate Pot De Creme Recipe

yummy easy to make fancy dessert

Ingredients
3 oz bittersweet chocolate
2/3 cup heavy cream
2 tbs sugar
2 large egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
pre heat oven to 325 f. bring cream to a boil, remove from heat and add chopped chocolate. let chocolate cool a bit. whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and doubled in volume. add chocolate mixture to egg mixture and whisk well. add vanilla. pour into 4 small ramekins and place ramekins in a bain marie. cover with foil. bake for about 20 minutes, or until just set, but still a bit wobbly in the center. cool to room temp and refridgerate, covered, at least 2 hours before serving. will keep 3 days in fridge.
