Makes 12 servings

We use low sodium College Inn Garden Vegetable broth, so the sodium is much lower. I coulded add it in here as an ingredient, just didn't work.

Ingredients
16 ounces split peas
1 yellow onion
1/2 purple onion
5 2/5 ounces carrots
2 cloves garlic
3/4 pound lean ham
4 cups broth
Directions
  1. Soak the peas per instructions on package then, chop onion, garlic, carrot and ham, place in a large pot, boil and ruduce. Yummy...
