Easy apple crumble recipe. Not low fat, but good for a treat. And it's fruit, so it's good for you! :)
| 4 | apples, large, peeled, cored and diced |
| 1 | cup flour |
| 1/2 | cup brown sugar |
| 1 | stick butter, cold |
| 2 | tsp cinnamon, divided |
| 3 | tbsp sugar |
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon. Cut the butter into small pieces, and mash together with your fingers until mixture is crumbly.
- Peel, core, and dice the apples. Put in a large bowl. Mix with 1 tsp cinnamon and 3 tbsp white sugar.
- Spray 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Pour apples into dish, top with crumble mixture. Cover with foil. Bake for about 45 minutes. Take the foil off for the last 10-15 minutes, until top is browned.
