Jill's Low-fat Brownies

Ingredients
| 1/2 |
cup flour |
| 1/2 |
cup baking cocoa |
| 1/2 |
teaspoon baking powder |
| 1/2 |
cup Splenda |
| 1/2 |
cup light brown sugar |
| 1/2 |
cup applesauce |
| 4 |
large egg whites |
| 2 |
teaspoons vanilla |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Spray 8" square baking pan with cooking spray.
- In small bowl combine flour, cocoa and baking powder.
- In medium bowl stir together Splenda, brown sugar and applesauce.
- Add egg whites and vanilla.
- Gradually stir in cocoa mixture until blended.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
- Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar (optional).
