- Place rinsed scallops in a casserole dish. Combine milk pepper and lemon juice and pour over scallops. Bake at 350 F for 12 minutes.
- Crush crackers into crumbs; add melted butter and mix well. Spread evenly on top of of the baked scallops. Broil on second rack until just golden, about 2 minutes, checking every 20 seconds after 1 minute, with the broiler element partially preheated.
