Aunt Janet's Chocolate Syrup Recipe

Ingredients: cocoa powder, sugar, salt, water, imitation vanilla extract cvt

Ingredients
1/4 cup cocoa powder, sifted (19171)
1/2 cup sugar
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup water, boiling
1/2 teaspoon imitation vanilla extract (2051)
Directions
  1. Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in saucepan.

  2. Add water gradually until mixture is smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture comes to a boil. Boil 1 minute without stirring. Remove from heat; cool.

  3. When cool, stir in vanilla.

  4. Store in the refrigerator. Lifespan not given.
