Applesauce makes the muffins tender and moist without overloading them with fat. From the American Diabetes Association. unsweetened applesauce, egg, canola or corn oil, honey, whole-wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder baking soda cinnamon nutmeg, raisins, nonstick spray cvt

Ingredients

cup honey |

cup whole-wheat flour (82882) |

cup all-purpose flour |

tsp baking soda |

tsp cinnamon |
| 1/4 |
tsp nutmeg |
| 1/3 |
cup raisins |
Directions
- In a large bowl, beat together the applesauce, egg, oil and honey.
- Sift in the dry ingredients; stirring just to moisten.
- Stir in the raisins and divide the batter among 12 muffin cups coated with nonstick cooking spray.
- Bake at 375 degrees F. for 20 minutes.
