tasty blackeyed-pea salsa alternative; These nutritionals use canned blackeyed peas. Sodium is much lower when you use frozen blackeyed peas (20mg per serving) instead of canned (250mg per serving).

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups blackeye peas, (frozen) steamed & drained
1 cup red bell pepper, diced
1 1/2 cups corn, (frozen) steamed
1/2 cup Kraft Fat Free Italian dressing
1/2 cup red onion, diced
1/4 cup jalapeno peppers, seeded & diced
1 clove garlic, smashed into paste
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
16 ounces tostitos scoops tortilla chips
Directions
mix well & serve with chips
