Umjaddara Recipe

Lebanese dish high in protien and fiber.

Ingredients
2 cups lentils
1 cup freekeh
1 onion
1/4 c olive oil
1/4 c sesame oil
3 c edamame, cooked
1 tsp salt
Directions
  1. Boil lentils till soft.

  2. Add Freekeh (green wheat) cook until tender.

  3. Fry onion in garlic and sesame oil until brown.

  4. Add to lentil and freekeh cook for 10 minutes.

  5. Add Edamame and salt to taste approximately 1 tsp.
