This recipe is devine to say the least!!! This is a recipe that my family is always asking for, and how can I refuse when it's so easy to make and tastes great as well.
| 4 | chicken breast halves |
| 1/4 | cup flour |
| 1/2 | tsp black pepper |
| 1 | tbsp sesame oil |
| 1/4 | cup soy sauce |
| 2 | tbsp rice wine vinegar |
| 2 | tbsp ketchup |
| 1 | tbsp brown sugar |
| 1 | clove garlic, minced |
| 1/2 | tsp ginger root or 1/4 tsp ground ginger |
| 1/4 | tsp red pepper flakes |
| 4 | cups rice, cooked |
| 1/4 | cup coriander, fresh chopped |
- Trim visible fat from chicken. Combine flour and pepper in resealable plastic bag. Add chicken; shake to coat with flour mixture.
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown about 2 minutes on each side. Place chicken in slow cooker.
- Combine soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes in a small bowl; pour over chicken. Cook on LOW 5-6 hours.
- Serve with rice and garnish with coriander, if desired.
