New York-Style Cheese Cake Recipe

DELISH!

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp butter, melted
40 ounce cream cheese
3 tbsp flour
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup sour cream
1 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
4 eggs
1/3 cup jam
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Mix crushed wafers, 3 tbsp sugar and butter, press into bottom of spring-form pan. Bake 10 minutes.

  2. Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, the flour and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over crust.

  3. Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool Completely before removing from pan. Refrigerate at least 4 hours over night ((1 or 2 days makes it even better)) Cut into 16 peices- serve.

  4. Option- top with favorite jam, or cut 1/3 cup into mixed batter several times before baking for a marble effect
