Apple Mushroom Turkey Patties Recipe

Adapted from John Berardi's Gourmet Nutrition for my food allergies and personal logging convenience.

Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey breast
2 oz mushrooms, finely chopped
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/2 apple, finely chopped
1 tsp lemon juice
1 omega-3 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp granulated garlic
1 pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Heat skillet with nonstick spray over medium-high. Add onions and fry until brown (5-10 mins). Add apples and mushrooms and saute for 5 more mins.

  2. Place all ingredients in bowl and mix thoroughly. Form six patties and broil 4 inches from heat, 6 minutes each side, or until juices run clear when pierced.
