Chili Stuffing Bake Recipe

off the Stove Top box

Ingredients
6 NLEA serving or one package of Stove Top cornbread stuffing
1 cup hot water
1 pound lean ground turkey
1 cup Old El Paso salsa, medium
1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
1 cup tomato sauce
2 cups or 1 can kidney beans, undrained
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Add the hot water to the mix. Stir until moist and set aside.

  2. Brown the meat in a large skillet and drain. Add the beans with their liquid, the tomato sauce and the salsa. Mix well. Spoon into a 2 qt. casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese and top with stuffing.

  3. Bake for 30 minutes.
