Shrimp Scampi Recipe

Makes 4 servings


Broiled shrimp over Pasta

Ingredients
8 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic
6 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 lb shrimp
8 oz angel hair pasta
Directions
  1. Melt 2 Tbsp butter in frying pan.

  2. Add garlic and saute til golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add 2 Tbsp lemon juice.

  3. Add shrimp (deveined, peeled, and butterflyed) and toss to coat.

  4. Pour into 9 X 13 baking pan, arrange in single layer.

  5. Broil 3-4 minutes, turn and broil another 3-4 minutes.

  6. Serve over pasta mixed with remaining butter and lemon juice
