Homemade American style rice pudding.
| 1 | cup rice |
| 2 | cups water |
| 4 | cups skim milk |
| 1/3 | cup sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon vanilla |
Cook rice in water as usual. Add milk and sugar then cook over medium heat 30 minutes or until creamy. Finish with vanilla. Put in individual serving dishes or a large bowl. COver tightly with wrap (touching surface) to prevent skin forming. Serve warm or cold.Categories
