Corn based, fried
| 1 | cup cornmeal |
| 3 3/4 | cup water |
| 1 | tbsp sugar |
| 1/4 | tsp salt |
| 1/3 | cup canola oil |
- bring 2 3/4 cup water to boil
- mix remaining ingredients with 1 cup water
- pour mixture into boiling water
- whip with wisk until thick and bubbly over low heat
- cook for 15 minutes until very thick
- pour into a bread pan and refrigerate overnight
- mass will be nice and solid. slice into 1/4 inch slices and turn in dry cornmeal, fry in oil, serve. YUM.
