A family favorite, especially on school days!
| 1 1/2 | pounds 90% ground beef |
| 4 | slices bread, cubed |
| 1 | large onion, chopped |
| 1 | egg |
| 1 | teaspoon salt |
| 1 | teaspoon garlic, minced |
| 1/4 | teaspoon pepper |
| 1/8 | teaspoon ground sage |
| 1 | tablespoon dried parsley flakes |
| 1/2 | teaspoon dried mustard |
| 1/4 | cup tomato ketchup |
- Mix all ingredients (except ketchup) together well.
- Pat into oblong loaf shape and put onto greased baking pan.
- Spread ketchup over loaf.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour + 15 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees.
- Slice before serving.
