| 200 | g sugar |
| 200 | g honey |
| 1 | tsp vanilla essence |
| 150 | g wheat bran |
| 100 | g walnuts |
| 100 | g raisins |
| 450 | g quaker oats |
- melt margarine together with sugar, honey and vanilla essence. Add raisins, walnuts and bran. Remove from fire add quaker oats.
- Press into lined and oiled 30 x 40 cm pan. cook in moderate oven for aprox 10 min. when cold cut into 3 x 10 cm bars
