Pumpkin Muffins

Makes 12 servings

Fat free. You may add nuts and raisins or other dried fruit if desired, and add the calories.

Ingredients
3 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons white sugar
4 teaspoons (rounded) baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1 cup milk
1 cup pumpkin, canned
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 eggs
Directions
  1. Sift all the dry ingredients together

  2. Mix together all the moist ingredients

  3. Quickly add the dry to the moist, mixing only until combined.

  4. Spoon into prepared muffin tins

  5. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes
