Ingredients
3/4 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup molasses
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
Directions
  1. Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Mix in molasses.

  2. Stir flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, and salt together and add. Mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls.

  3. Roll in sugar and place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes.
