| 1/2 | cup butter |
| 3/4 | cup sugar |
| 3/4 | cup flour |
| 1 | teaspoon baking powder |
| 1/2 | teaspoon salt |
| 1 | tsp vanilla |
| 3/4 | cup milk |
| 2 | c peaches |
| 1 | c plums |
| 1 | tsp cinnamon |
| 1/2 | tsp ginger |
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place butter in a 2 quart baking dish and place in oven to melt.
- In a medium bowl, mix sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Add vanilla and stir in milk, a little at a time, until wholly incorporated. Pour carefully over melted butter in dish.
- Cut peaches and plums into desired size chunks and stir in cinammon and ginger. Arrange fruit mixture over batter.
- Bake in preheated oven 35 to 45 minutes, until crust is puffed and golden.
