Pear Butter Recipe

Good in Oatmeal and as a spread for toast

Ingredients
1 lb pears, peeled and sliced
1/4 c water
1 T sugar
1/4 t ginger
Directions
Microwave pears in water until soft. Mash or put through sieve. put in heavy saucepan and cook until thicj, stiring to keep from sticking. Add sugat and ginger if desired
