Broccoli Salad Recipe

Makes 8 servings


Fresh broccoli salad with grapes, almonds and bacon.

Ingredients
2 bunches broccoli, cut in small pieces
3 cups red seedless grapes, sliced in half long-wise
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar or Splenda
2 tsp vinegar
1/2 lb bacon, thick-cut, cook until crisp and cut into little bits
3 oz sliced almonds, lightly toasted.
Directions
  1. Mix mayo, sugar and vinegar to make dressing. Stir until sugar is dissolved. In medium bowl, add dressing to broccoli. Add grapes. Just before serving add bacon and almonds, stir.

  2. Cut calories and fat by substituting Splenda for sugar and low-fat mayo for mayo.
