This is a modified version of a classic. You can use any fresh fruit you desire.
| 2 | cups fresh peaches |
| 2 | cups splenda |
| 6 | tbsp Brummel & Brown Spread |
| 1/4 | tsp salt |
| 1 | tsp baking powder |
| 3/4 | cup Gold Medal all purpose flour |
| 3/4 | cup skim milk |
In a mixing bowl stir together peaches and 1 cup splenda, set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a 2 quart casserole, put in the spread and set in preheating oven while making batter. In a mixing bowl, combine remaining dry ingredients and then stir in milk, mixing until all lumps are gone. Once the spread in the oven is melted, remove casserole and pour in batter on top of melted margarine. DO NOT STIR. Next, spoon in peach/splenda mixture. Again, DO NOT STIR. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown.Categories
