Pintos & Hocks Recipe

pinto beans cooked with ham hocks

Ingredients
1 pound pinto beans
1 1/2 pounds ham hocks
6 cups vegetable broth
3 large carrots
3 stalks celery
1 small onion
2 cloves garlic
1 T. paprika
1 T. chili powder
1/2 T. sea salt
1/2 T. ground black pepper
Directions
  1. soak beans overnight

  2. drain beans

  3. chop veggies

  4. add all ingredients into a crock pot

  5. cook until beans are tender
