Soup
| 1 1/2 | lbs potatoes |
| 4 | cups cabbage |
| 1 | cup onion |
| 1 1/2 | cups carrot |
| 1 1/2 | cups peas |
| 1 1/2 | cups lima beans |
- Saute onion in a little butter.
- Add unpeeled roughly chopped potatoes (about 1 inch cubes)
- Add roughly chopped peeled carrots (.5" chunks)
- Stirring constantly allow to brown slightly
- Add about a pint of water, salt & pepper to taste
- Simmer for about 20 minutes, then add peas & beans, and simmer a further 5 minutes
- Add roughly shredded cabbage, and simmer until the cabbage is just done.
- Serve & enjoy
