Just a yummy and easy recipe for chicken and dumplings
| 2 | chicken breast, bite size pieces |
| 2 | cups water |
| 1 | chicken stock cube |
| 2 | can mushroom soup |
| 1 | onion diced |
| 1 | green bell pepper, diced |
| 2 | carrots, diced |
| 7 | oz biscuits |
| 1 | tbsp butter |
Sautee the onions in the butter in a large saucepan. Once translucent, add the chicken and cook until chicken is just done. Add the carrots and bell pepper and cook for another 5 minutes. Add soup, water and chicken stock and cook for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. When the soup is about cooked, it is time to add the biscuits. Tear the biscuits into bite size pieces and add slowly to the soup. Cook for another 10 - 15 minutes and serve.Categories
