This recipe can be prepared the traditional way, on a sizzler pan, add the meat and the vegetables to the red-hot pan and then add the sauce to make it sizzle, or you can make it in a wok and just cook it up. Good either way.

Ingredients
1 lb steak
1/4 cup water, combined with
1/4 tsp. bicarbonate of soda
3 onions, quartered
1 Red pepper, sliced
1 yellow pepper, sliced
1 green peppers, sliced
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup tomatoes, sieved
1/4 cup red wine
Directions
  1. Pour the water and bicarbonate of soda mixture over steak, leave for 1 hour, drain well.

  2. Spray a wok with spray oil. Fry the steak until well browned. Remove from pan.

  3. Add quartered onions and peppers, cook 2 mins.

  4. Return meat to pan, cook 1 min.

  5. Combine the Worcestershire sauce, passata (sieved tomatoes) and wine in a small pan, stir until sauce boils and reduce heat.

  6. Pour sauce onto steak and vegetables and serve with boiled rice
