Scone based pizza
| 8 | oz self raising flour |
| 1 | teaspoon baking powder |
| 1 | oz margarine |
| 1 | egg |
| 5 | fl oz semi skimmed milk |
| 400 | g canned tomatoes |
| 2 | cloves garlic |
| 4 | oz cheddar cheese |
| 4 | mushrooms |
| 1 | red pepper |
| 1 | onion |
- Sieve flour and baking powder into bowl.
- Rub in margarine.
- Add beaten egg.
- Add milk to mix to stiff dough (scone dough).
- Roll out and put in pizza tin.
- Put tomatoes, onion, crushed garlic in pan and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Drain through sieve to remove excess juice.
- Cover dough with mixture.
- Top with vegetables and cheese.
- Bake gas mark 5 for approximately 20 minutes.
