Banana Chocolate Oatmeal Bread Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1/2 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
1 1/2 cups mashed banana
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup chocolate chips
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Grease and flour a loaf pan.

  3. Combine sugar and butter in a large bowl and stir until uniform. Add eggs, on at a time, and stir to incorporate. Add oats, banana, milk and vanilla; stir until uniform.

  4. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl; stir with a fork to blend.

  5. Add flour mixture to banana mixture one third at a time; stir until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes or until loaf is dark brown and cake tester comes out clean.

  6. Cool on wrack until room temperature and remove from pan.

  7. Enjoy!
