Crock Pot cooked, melt-in-your-mouth traditional Swiss Meat. It's great for a hungry group of kids, your hungry partner, or your hungry comfort-food needing self :). Made for the Swiss Alps ;D
| 16 | oz Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup |
| 1 | cup Onion |
| 6 | cloves Garlic |
| 1 | cup Mushrooms |
| 3 | Celery Stalks |
| 5 | lbs Top Round Beef |
| 1/2 | cup Whole Wheat Flour |
| 2 | tbs Olive Oil |
| 1 | tbs Salt |
| 1 | tbs Pepper |
| 1/2 | cup Buttermilk |
| 8 | oz Evaporated Milk |
- Chop up the onion (not too small; Large White works best for flavor) & place in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Dredge the meat in flour, salt, and pepper.
- Brown the meat in a big pan on all sides.
- Drop it in the crock pot
- Add garlic, celery stalks, mushrooms, water and condensed soup. The celery is just for taste so no need to chop it up...
- Heat on low for 9-10 hours. Take out the roast and slice extra thin for some yummy tender peices. :)
