Green Beans with Garlic, Lemon, and Parsley Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds green beans
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
Directions
  1. Trim green beans, mince garlic, and chop parsley.

  2. Cook beans in large pot of boiling salted water until crisp-tender, about 4 minutes.

  3. Drain.

  4. Place beans in bowl of ice water to cool.

  5. Drain well.

  6. Melt butter with oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.

  7. Add garlic; stir 30 seconds.

  8. Add beans; sauté until heated through, about 5 minutes.

  9. Stir in parsley and lemon peel.

  10. Season with salt and pepper.

  11. Transfer to platter.
