Ingredients
| 3 |
cups flour |
| 1/4 |
teaspoon yeast |
| 2 |
teaspoons salt |
| 1 3/4 |
cup water |
| 2 |
tablespoons cornmeal |
Directions
- Whisk together flour, yeast, and salt in a extra large mixing bowl.
- Add water until combined.
- Cover bowl with plastic wrap and allow to sit at room temp for 19 hours.
- After 19 hours, turn dough out onto lightly floured work surface.
- Punch down and gently turn dough over onto itself a couple of times.
- Cover with towel and let rest for 15 minutes, shape dough into a ball.
- Place dough on cookie sheet sprinkled with cornmeal. Add cornmeal to top of dough.
- Cover with towel and let rise about 3-4 hours.
- preheat oven to 350 degrees when dough has doubled the size and bake 35-40 minutes until dark golden brown.
