Pasta Pizza Recipe

Better Homes and Gardens recipe

Ingredients
5 ounces dried rotini (2 cups)
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
12 ounces ground chicken
2 cup tomato sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
Directions
  1. Cook rotini according to package directions, drain; rinse with cold water. Drain well.

  2. for pasta crust, in a large bowl combine egg, milk, and Parmesan cheese. Stif in drained rotini, spread rotini mixture evenly in a greased 12-inch pizza pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes

  3. Meanwhile, in a large skillet cook ground beef until brown. Drain, stir in pasta sauce. Spoon meat mixture over baked rotini crust. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

  4. Bake in the 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes more or until heated through and cheese is melted. To serve, cut into wedges.
