Basil Rotini Recipe

Makes 3 servings


Pesto like whole wheat pasta.

Ingredients
168 grams whole wheat pasta
3 tbsp olive oil
25 grams basil, minced
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Directions
  1. Boil, drain and cool pasta.

  2. Puree or mince basil.

  3. Mix with oil, salt and garlic.

  4. Sprinkle even over pasta and mix thoroughly.

  5. Serve hot or cold. Store in refrigerator. Keeps about 2 days.
