Cajun Haddock Spicy Fish Recipe

Cajun Haddock Spicy Fish

Ingredients
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
32 ounce haddock fillets
2 tbsp olive oil
Directions
  1. In a small bowl combine oregano, cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper and thyme. Sprinkle over 1 side of the fillets and rub in with your fingers.

  2. Preheat oven to 400ºF.

  3. In a large oven proof skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook the fillets, spice side down, until browned, about 2 minutes. With large spatula, turn the fillets.

  4. Place skillet in the preheated oven and bake until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, about 5 minutes.

  5. 4 Servings
