| 1 1/5 | lbs sweet italian sausage |
| 1 | medium white onion |
| 9.69 | oz ronzoni smart pasta |
| 5 | oz mushroom |
| 1 | cup italian tomatoes |
| 8 | oz fat free evaporated milk |
- spray nonstick skillet with no calorie vegetable spray.
- add sausage and crushed red pepper.
- cook until sausage is no longer pink, stirring frequently, about 7 minutes.
- add onion and minced garlic to skillet and cook until onion is tender and sausage is light brown, stirring occasionally, about 7 minutes.
- add evap milk (to make cream mixture), tomatoes, mushrooms and salt.
- simmer until mixture thickens slightly, about 4 minutes.
- cook pasta in large pot of boiling water (as directed), drain.
- bring sauce to a simmer.
- add pasta to sauce and cook until pasta is heated through and sauce is thick, stirring occassionally, about 2 mins.
- sprinkle with parsley.
- serve, passing parmesan seperately
