Sausage, Tomato, Mushroom & Cream Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/5 lbs sweet italian sausage
1 medium white onion
9.69 oz ronzoni smart pasta
5 oz mushroom
1 cup italian tomatoes
8 oz fat free evaporated milk
Directions
  1. spray nonstick skillet with no calorie vegetable spray.

  2. add sausage and crushed red pepper.

  3. cook until sausage is no longer pink, stirring frequently, about 7 minutes.

  4. add onion and minced garlic to skillet and cook until onion is tender and sausage is light brown, stirring occasionally, about 7 minutes.

  5. add evap milk (to make cream mixture), tomatoes, mushrooms and salt.

  6. simmer until mixture thickens slightly, about 4 minutes.

  7. cook pasta in large pot of boiling water (as directed), drain.

  8. bring sauce to a simmer.

  9. add pasta to sauce and cook until pasta is heated through and sauce is thick, stirring occassionally, about 2 mins.

  10. sprinkle with parsley.

  11. serve, passing parmesan seperately
