Vegetarian Vegetable Soup Recipe

very simple and very filling

Ingredients
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup turnip , chopped
1 cup potato, chopped
1 cup parsnips, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup onions, chopped
1 cup beans, snap
1 cup corn, sweet
1 cup lima beans
12 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1 red pepper, hot
Directions
  1. Put everything into a large soup pot

  2. Bring to a boil

  3. Reduce to a slow simmer

  4. Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes

  5. Taste and season
