Microwave Glazed Pork Chops, Variation Recipe

Submitted by earth_mom

Makes 8 servings

Variation on glazed pork chops, with molasses (I use Grandma's) and low calorie Teriyaki sauce to brown the chops before you nuke 'em. (You could probably grill 'em if you like that)

Ingredients
4 tablespoons molasses
4 tablespoons Teriyaki sauce
3 tablespoons mustard, prepared Dijon
1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh squeezed & zest
8 pork chops
Directions
  1. Marinade: mix together first 4 ingredients

  2. Chops: rinse & pat dry 8 thin pork chops (super market value pack for instance)

  3. Arrange chops in one layer in a microwave safe dish, small end toward center of dish

  4. Pour marinade over chops in dish

  5. Cover with tight-fitting plastic wrap

  6. Refrigerate for 4 hours (more or less)

  7. Microwave 25 minutes, turning chops over about half way through.

  8. Let stand covered 5-10 minutes

  9. *(Microwave ovens vary: check for done-ness 5 minutes after turning chops)*
