Another version of hummus, I use instead of Mayo on bread
| 14 | oz chickpeas |
| 1 | large dry onion |
| 1/2 | cup garlic |
| 1/2 | cup peanut butter |
| 1/4 | cup olive oil |
| 2 | tsp tabasco |
| 1 | tsp nutmeg |
- soak 6oz of dry garbonzo beans over night. Simmer next day 3 hours till tender.
- Roast garlic and onion in oven cut onion in half rub olive oil on top, cut 1/4 off the garlic clove and rub olive oil on top. roast in oven 50 minutes at 425 degress. Drain beans and cool. when cool add beans to food processor and run till smooth, proceed to add rest of the ingredients and store in refridge as needed.
