| 28 | g semisweet chocolate |
| 1/2 | cup country crock |
| 2/3 | cup whole wheat flour |
| 2 | tbs Cocoa powder |
| 1 | tsp baking powder |
| 1/2 | tsp salt |
| 4 | egg whites |
| 1/2 | cup Splenda brown sugar |
| 1/2 | cup Splenda granular |
| 2 | T coffee, grounds, instant |
| 1 | tsp vanilla |
- Melt the chocolate into butter in a pan.
- Mix flour with baking powder and salt.
- Beat eggs well, then gradually beat in sugar and instant coffee. Blend in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Add flour mixture and mix well.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes (for moist, chewy brownies) or about 30 minutes, or until cake tester or wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean (for cake-like brownies).
- Cool in pan. Cut into squares or rectangles.
