black bean vegetarian soup
| 12 | ounces uncooked black beans |
| 2 | cloves garlic |
| 1 | medium onion |
| 3 | tbsp cumin |
| 1 | tsp cayenne pepper |
| 8 | ounces salsa |
- soak beans overnight
- add spices, garlic, onion to beans and cook for 3 hours
- take out 3 cups beans and set aside
- blend with immersion blender after adding salsa
- add whole beans back to mixture
