Black Bean Soup Recipe

black bean vegetarian soup

Ingredients
12 ounces uncooked black beans
2 cloves garlic
1 medium onion
3 tbsp cumin
1 tsp cayenne pepper
8 ounces salsa
Directions
  1. soak beans overnight

  2. add spices, garlic, onion to beans and cook for 3 hours

  3. take out 3 cups beans and set aside

  4. blend with immersion blender after adding salsa

  5. add whole beans back to mixture
