the honey wheat bread we make

Ingredients
| 1/4 |
oz rapid rise yeast |
| 1 |
teaspoon honey |
| 1/2 |
cup water |
| 8 |
oz 2% evaporated milk |
| 1 |
cup water |
| 1/4 |
cup honey |
| 1 |
teaspoon salt |
| 15 |
oz whole wheat flour |
| 10 |
oz bread flour |
Directions
- Dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon honey in 1/2 cup of warm water.
- Combine milk, 1 (or 3/4 cup) water, honey, salt and wheat flour in bowl.
- Mix in yeast mixture.
- Add white flour, and knead dough for ~10 minutes.
- Place dough in bowl, allow to rise until double in size.
- Once doubled in size, punch down and knead dough for 5 minutes. Form into loaves.
- Allow to double in size (1-2 hours), until bread is higher than the sides of the pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees, with a small pan of water.
- Butter crusts while warm.
