Bran Muffins with raisins or dates
| 1 | cup All Bran Cereal |
| 1/2 | cup 2% Milk |
| 1/2 | cup Molasses |
| 1 | Egg |
| 1/4 | cup Butter, soften |
| 1/2 | cup Raisins or Dates |
| 1 | cup Flour, sifted |
| 2 1/2 | teaspoons Baking Powder |
| 1/2 | teaspoon Salt |
- Combine All Bran, Milk and Molasses
- Let stand until most of the liquids have been absorbed
- Add egg and butter
- Beat well
- Stir in seedless raisins or pitted cut up dates
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt
- Fold into Bran mixture - just until mixed
- Fill greased muffin pan 2/3's full
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
