Roti Canai Recipe

Makes 10 servings


Originated from north indian, has became a Malaysian favourite since ever. Nice to be eaten with curry or lentil stew.

Ingredients
4 cups wheat flour
260 ml water
2 tbsp margarine for kneading
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil for frying
Directions
Mix all ingredients and knead until smooth. Seperate to 10 portion and knead individual portion with bit of margarine. Leave kneaded mixture for preferably overnight before cooking. knead and pull mixture to become flat. heat pan add a little oil and fry till crisp.
