Got this outa the South Beach Diet cookbook... soo good!
| 2 | tbsp extra-virgin olive oil |
| 1/2 | cup dry red wine |
| 3 | cloves garlic, minced |
| 1 | tbsp chopped oregano |
| 3 | tbsp minced parsley |
| 1 | tsp bay leaf |
| 1/2 | tsp ground black pepper |
| 1 1/2 | pound sirloin |
- Combine all ingredients except for meat to make the marinade.
- Place steak in a deep bowl and pour on marinade.
- Turn once to coat both sides, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- When ready to serve, preheat broiler or prepare charcoal grill.
- Broil for about 5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer inserted into the middle registers 145 F (for medium-rare).
- Cut meat into thin, diagonal slices across the grain.
