Oatmeal Pancakes Recipe

A tasty alternative to "standard" pancakes - easy to make.

Ingredients
100 g plain flour
100 g oatmeal
3 egg whites
400 ml milk
1 peach
Directions
  1. Quite simple - mix together well, the flour, oatmeal, egg whites and milk in a bowl.

  2. Fry on a medium-high heat(a good quality non stick pan means no oil or fat).

  3. Serve with chopped fruit (soft, sweet fruit works best)

  4. I was shocked to see how leaving out the egg-yolks lowered cholesterol (originally I used 2 whole eggs). By adding an extra egg white in place of the yolks, it keeps sufficent liquid without imparing the flavour.
