A tasty alternative to "standard" pancakes - easy to make.
| 100 | g plain flour |
| 100 | g oatmeal |
| 3 | egg whites |
| 400 | ml milk |
| 1 | peach |
- Quite simple - mix together well, the flour, oatmeal, egg whites and milk in a bowl.
- Fry on a medium-high heat(a good quality non stick pan means no oil or fat).
- Serve with chopped fruit (soft, sweet fruit works best)
- I was shocked to see how leaving out the egg-yolks lowered cholesterol (originally I used 2 whole eggs). By adding an extra egg white in place of the yolks, it keeps sufficent liquid without imparing the flavour.
