Submitted by littlemalynda

Makes 8 servings

One of the classics made with Splenda (mind you it doens't rise well so expect a DENSE cake)

Ingredients
1 1/4 cup Splenda Granular
4 Egg Whites
1 Egg
3/4 cup Water
2 1/4 cup
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tbs Vanilla
1/2 cup
3/4 cup Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tbs Baking Powder
3/4 cup
1 cup Fat-Free Cool Whip
4 tbs
Directions
  1. Heat oven to 375

  2. Mix splenda, and soy milk

  3. beat eggs, and add gradually to the sugar mix

  4. cook cocoa and water together 1 minute, then add baking soda & powder and set aside to cool.

  5. Slowly add wet and dry ingredients together

  6. Mix until smooth

  7. Bake for 30 mins or until toothpick comes out clean

  8. TIP: I like using sugar free preserves as the layer inbetween and icing the cake with cool whip.
